Just watched a stupid movie ... Three Kings

If you're talking about the David O. Russell movie, it's honestly one of my favorite movies of the past several years. So I guess whatever demographic I fall into, you could count me.

It was kind of like a modern envisioning of Kelly's Heroes with a social conscience. One of the few treatments I've seen of the aftermath of the first gulf war on the Iraqi civilian population. I liked this movie too.

Some really amazing work. I attended a Q and A with David and was very much inspired. Some very ballzy bleach bypass processing on the reversal stock but ended up looking phenomenal. Great film.

I think it is OK for him not to like the movie. Probably more constructive for us to have a dialog on what was good or bad about it rather than being antagonistic or squashing dissenting opinions.

I didn't like Gigli, but I haven't made anything better... yet.

Ha! Count me in that group as well. I think 3 Kings as a few things going for it... very smart script as it's both humorous and dead serious, solid acting performances and it has a really great look, love the color grading on that film. The premise is much more realistic that you might think too.

I agree. This was one of the most striking aspects of the film the first time I saw it. I really felt like I was in the sun parched desert. Very engaging use of color.
