Wanted to come on and say whats up to all you Red maniacs! Just ordered my Scarlet and rigged it out, waiting for delivery.

Ive always wanted to own a Red camera having used the Red One as a director on music videos and edited many feature films shot on Epics. I couldnt pass up the offer they have on the Scarlet brain. Ill post a couple pics of my rig once built in the thread bellow. For now hello!

Welcome Paul !! All the best with your new baby. It's one thing to work with but it's ANOTHER one to own it. Very nice feeling of freedom.

Weclome Paul, glad to have you here.

Welcome, you're really going to enjoy your camera!

Welcome! It's a fun ride with a great group of folks in the RED family.

Welcome man, you're probably counting the minutes. It's crazy to think that then when you get it, all of our excuses for not making our "feature" (that we all want to make) are out the window :)

Yes but that Meizler is calling my checkbook ;) Nobody wants to pay for a DIT. Pro res is a godsend to be able to handoff on set with no DIT. Trying to figure out if you can still put rigging on that thing...you must right?
