  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Just got my shipping confirmation!

Thanks for the support, # 6 :-P Wonder which one I'll be receiving...or how many have already gone out w/ PL mounts.

GONNA BE AN AWESOME WEEK!!!...if I could just the LCD monitor soon as well, I'll have everything I need. Not everything I ordered, but everything I need for a functioning camera :-)

Processing times are relatively conservative estimates and based on historical averages. Frankly, sometimes we get it out quicker than 3 business days. I hope you do not object when that happens :)

Brent,

If I wanted to order a Canon mount for my Scarlet, which mount would you guesstimate would arrive sooner, the AL or Ti? (knowing the AL is not available as of yet as a stand alone item)

Thanks for the insight.

Brent. Def no objection. :). You guys rock!

Thanks for the update Brent. I believe the last update that RED gave for fulfilling all the Ti Canon Mounts before those Scarlets can ship was estimated to be December 15th. Is this still the current estimate?

I don't know where you read that. Still says 1 dec on RED.com under Scarlet Ti. Maby they wont hit 1 dec for shipping but if its way of Im sure they would have changed it at RED.com.

It is kind of funny — I ended up in a situation completely opposite to the one I was aiming for. All those "Ti ships first" and "Any possible delays may be caused only by Al mounts" got me confused, so it seems that instead of receiving my Ti Canon Scarlet earlier I will wait for it longer than the majority of you folks.

*sighs*

By default, I have to answer Ti since we are not selling a la carte Al at this time.

Correct, we have to fulfill the outstanding individual Ti Canon Mount orders in order before we can start with the ones on SCARLET-X's. Good news is that increased production on those mounts is coming in now so we will eat through the backorder a lot faster than we have been.

...ouch

does that mean no "christmas with scarlet canon ti" especially in europe ?

:-(

Bah... crushing dissapointment mixed with a dash of excitment for the future.
Was hoping for a 4k shoot of a Christmas outdoor market...

But as classy as always Brent, so late in your day and yet you're still posting here. Such dedication inspires nothing but the most determined effort for patience

Contrats Wernic, and thanks for sharing, it is good therapy :)

To Brent, So it occurred to me that brains aside from mount are the same. I thought by having a PL order it could get out quicker as there may be less of these orders than AL Canon. Can we assume that PL and AL Canon mount cameras are still getting manufactured at the same time? Not one or the other? Thanks a lot! I know everyone has said it but i will do mine, thanks for all of the hard work and keeping us informed! This seems like deja vu for me of waiting for the AF100 to come out last year. Only then we really had no clue! At least this time around we have updates, thanks again, any answer you can give would be great.

"Cesar has put your Scarlet in the Oven..." hahah thanks for the good laugh.

Got my shipping email at 11:09AM PST this morning. Was at the RED Scarlet event as well. Al Canon Mount with Scarlet Brain/SSD Module only. SO - xxxxxx

EDIT: Correction, my SO # is - 50886
