  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

June Update

If you cancel your order, you'll regret that decision for the rest of your life. You're in the que...yea, you may have to wait a while, but it's worth it. I remember when I awaited the arrival of my Epic...one of the best days of my life. Utilize this amazing community if you need a camera for a job...this community is the best out there.

Everyone wants a RED now...which means that the other brands are struggling to even earn sales, which means, productions will start to demand RED's more and more, which is great for all of us! Who wouldn't want to be a part of the amazing ride that we are on???
 
Hopefully July we will start seeing some scarlet w's arriving in people's hands in larger numbers. Some scarlet w pure orders would be nice too 😊
 
Jarred/Brent was wondering if the Epic MX upgrade coming soon also applies for Scarlet MX users?! Thanks

I change July update for allocations for all :yikes: please or only for the people before May
 
So I've resorted to shooting projects on my iphone 6s+ now because it does slow motion unlike my more expensive cameras ha. Sure would love a Scarlet-W to make it's way to me soon so I can stop faking slow motion with my phone ;)
 
I just wanted to know if any upgrade would come for Scarlet MX useres before i sell my one :/

Here's the Scarlet trade-in path history:

4/2013 - 7/2015 (Dragon Upgrade)

Scarlet MX -[ $9,500]- Epic MX [or] Scarlet Dragon -[ $9,500]- Epic Dragon (upgrade n/a for Scarlet Dragon)

4/2015 - 7/2017* (Weapon Upgrade)

DETAILS

Basically, you have never been able to jump sensors and body in an upgrade, but Jarred says* he is opening the door for Epic MX owners. Maybe there will be something for Scarlet MX in the future, but two years seems long enough to either go Epic, go Dragon, or go Home and shoot with your Scarlet MX.

More or less, the Scarlet MX does not look like it will have a path anymore (they did at one time), and only Epic MX owners will have some kind of 'currently unknown' path for now.
