  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

John Marchant's " Kindling " shot on DRAGON MONOCHROME

Well... While I simply DISLIKE character's POV style shooting, and no exception here... I must say that you have pulled off to make those shots very nicely, and also very creative on your home made rig.

But I honestly paid much more attention to the beautiful imagery you got out of Dragon Mono... And the pulled frames are just gorgeous... :)

That's a backhanded compliment if I ever saw one. Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house...

Absolutely NOT!!

You are the one trowing rocks now... And don't worry... I don't leave in a glass house.

I simply stated that I do not like POV camera shots, never did never will... This is a simple stating of a fact, which is that I do not like first person POV shots, as they make me sick, as well as extremely shake footage, as with "Cloverfield" which was absolutely un-watchable for me.

But still I complimented the ingenuity of the built on the rig.

As far as the short and the imagery and quality of it I already said it in my first reply in this thread, simply gorgeous.

I myself enjoyed it very much. Great story arc, dream sequence and in my opinion a vote against gun violence. And it looks fantastic.

John! ... saw it the other week at RED Berlin ... looks pretty awesome! ... although i thought "wicked thy art" .... hehe ... love the images ... :-))

That's cool. :)
