This is the first of three spots I directed for Harley-Davidson's latest global campaign. I was lucky enough to have the supremely talented Jeff Cronenweth ASC as my DP. We shot on two RED Epic (Dragons.) This is the agency/client cut and grade. Happy to share the other two once they're posted.

Awesome!

Nice looking spot and a nice message. Super cool. As an aside, my baby girl is only 21 months old. Her nanny told me the other day at the playground, a guy rolled up on a motorcycle, and when he got off, my little girl was shocked to see it wasn't me haha....

thanks everyone.

bill, in answer to your question: calmly, very calmly.

we shot everything with either a fujinon 19-90mm or an optimo 24-290mm. we captured at 6k full-frame but framed for 16:9. on the days we had an arm car, the 19-90 lived on that camera. i love primes as much as the next guy, but on a commercial like this, i can't imagine working with anything but zooms. art department did a great job with the helmet with some very last minute paint.

Great job, always loved Jeff's work... one of the most talented DPs working today.

Really nice work Scott. These are coming out really well and making me itch to ride. Both of my bikes are tucked away in the garage, as here in the Northeast we just got a bunch of new snow....
