  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

They really are! A Youtuber who goes by "Armadas" is the creator of the three videos above as well as some previously posted in this thread. If you or anyone else wants to get into contact with them, you might want to post in the comments section of one of his/or their videos.

I posted a "I have this problem too" over in the Blackmagic forums, but may as well try here, too. I have some 59.94fps UHD mp4 files that play back at speed in QuickTime player and BlackMagic media Express. But they only play back at most 37fps inside Resolve 16.1.2. no effects. With either UHD or HD timeline size. With or without using Generate Optimized Media.

How are you UHD 60fps hot-shots getting Resolve to work for you.

I have a 2017 iMac Pro 10- core system with Vega64 GPU. It barely registers the load when playing back in QT player. It's about 2x the load (still only maybe 25%) in Media Express. So not intrinsically over-taxibg, and nothing my SSD and/or QNAP devices can't serve all day.

Do you have a sample file? But I would image that if Peter Chamberlain, on the Blackmagic forum, or Rohit Gupta, also with Blackmagic and a Reduser member who frequently scans the Resolve threads here, can`t help its probably some bug that they are working on fixing.
