  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Jannard Circa 1979...

Nice memories...i used in my bmx as well.

hahaha nice!!!

I had a pair of those handgrips on my Diamondback BMX waaay back when.
Won ALOT of races back then.

That just brought back alot of memories.

The 'shades' ad was pretty cool too.

Thanks for posting Jarred. :hurray:

There is a whole warehouse of stuff.. the amount of design and photography work Jim did himself is mind boggling... he was the only designer at Oakley from 1975 to 1991.... not an armchair CEO in any sense of the term that's for sure.

Ill scan some more in a bit.

Heh heh heh.. good find. That whole purposelabs.com thing was me and Nick's attempt 5 or 6 years ago to convince a relatively unknown high speed machine-vision company the opportunity of taking their cameras and repackaging them to shooting 24fps and have a body that was friendly for cinematic applications.

It (kinda) worked.. www.visionresearch.com
i think you finally found that company...
