It's a simple idea of using s35 lenses on the full frame camera.

1. buy PL to EF lens adaptor

2. buy 1.4 extender

3. put them on your canon lens mount.

- There are pro and con.

Pro

- Cheap solution

- It works well - S35 is 1.4 times smaller, so it perfectly matches theoretically.

Con

- All your S35 lenses will lose 1stop. (it's just the opposite effect of Speed Booster)

- I am not sure how heavy lens canon extender could handle. (or why don't you glue it with a solid 19mm lens support?)

- It's Canon mount. - Hmmmmm???

How do you think about this idea?

It is one solution if that is your goal.

1.4x and 2x TCs can be found in PL Mount as well (pretty much available for every mount really).

If using PL glass be very, very careful of the rear element in the lens itself touching the optics in the extender.

I haven't seen an extender that wouldn't lower the quality.
PL lenses might collide with the front lens group of the extender.
