I'm curious to know if there is a working Red Mysterium 617 camera floating about. I have a background in photography, and seeing that the sensor size of this camera would benefit alot of people in the photography world, in such ways of panoramas or super high resolution portraits etc. I once had a dream where I was outdoors with a 617, and I didn't treat it like a $55k+ camera, but like it was my first camera, of which i was taking pictures of any and everything. The camera was lightweight, and had a cord to a battery pack that I had on my hip. I would turn and see the clouds and hold the camera up and snap the trigger button. And then turn to something else like a squirrel and take it's picture. In this moment, taking pictures was fun.
Now mind you, I currently own a Nikon D3s with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and a 50mm f/1.8 lens, with nikon sb-600 speed lights and an su-800 flash commander. Also I edit on photoshop, phocus, and capture one, on a macbook pro I wouldn't mind testing a 617 for photography purposes, while the rest of the world is trying to figure out how to handle it's video editing requirements. Now, I would request for adapters for nikon/canon lenses, shutter speeds up to 1/8000, and ISO up to 64,000. With both raw and jpeg or tiff capture at however many fps that the camera can do video.
I see this as being a major player in the photography world, because of how useful it can be for shooting panoramics, also replacing scanners, capture ultra high resolution images regardless of subject matter.
Another thing, I'm in Arkansas, there will more than likely not be a 617 here anytime soon, but Arkansas has it's naturally beautiful scenic blessings any camera is yet to capture. I only ask that this project gets updated with a soon release, so that at least my dream can be a reality if not to me but to someone equally worthy of a chance.
