  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is it me... or is the forum Dead at the moment!

once you receive an epic, it is like hitting the lottery, you just kind of fade into society and start to do your work and worry less about others....not because you dont care about others, but you are just so happy and overwhelmed with work at the same time, that there is no way to do both as effectively, so the forum posts suffer, and epic rules...YOU WILL SEE.....

I'm one who's been shooting! Im sure there is going to be a RED storm soon, the sky is going to change color!
 
Nowt wrong with a bit of quiet so we can all crack on with the work that has to be done. I'm always listening, even when I don't say I'm listening and working on refining things for the better. Sometimes it's great to have a rollicking good forum conversation, other times a bit of quiet is good too. But if you think RED forum is dead, you should be reading some other camera forums to see that they're not just dead, but buried 6ft under...

So I should crack back on with work here, and I agree, I think things are going to get rather exciting early november, and I don't just mean Scarlet, it's my birthday :-)

Yeah, myths can only carry us so far Graeme.

Nov 3rd will likely go down in the history books.

The art will be all but unrecognizable in a few short years. Here's to the new wave.

Scotch is indeed how it is celebrated, not officially, but scotch is good for celebrating anything! Normally you burn a guy on the bonfire and set off fireworks. I think Guy Fawkes night is a peculiarly English thing...

We Scots celebrated Guy Fawkes night without fail. Every kid would spend a week gathering anything that would burn in order to make our bonfire the biggest in the neighborhood,
sometimes mothers could be seen climbing the mountain of wood to retrieve a "good chair".

Now, something that confuses me as much today as when I was a kid: if Guy Fawkes was executed for trying to blow up the English Houses of Parliament, why do we Scots burn him in effigy every year????

Perhaps because he failed. Heh Heh
