Irony??

[David Birdy]

Is it just me,... or does anyone else see the classic irony of the Red One being used to shot commercials for Nike???...... Very good looking commercials I might add!

Actually, I don't see the irony of it. Please do explain. I could see the irony if it was a Nikon ad (although, it would be far more ironic if it were a Sony/Panasonic/JVC/Arri ad.)

Is this an Oakley as competitor to Nike thing? Scratching my head...

[Craig Ryan]

In theory, it is just as ironic that RED uses a SONY 4k projector to screen their footage...at least for now...?

[Brook Willard]

I've worked on a handful of Nike ads shot on the RED... definitely not the most ironic ads I've worked on with that camera.

Unfortunately I can't tell you what the most ironic ads were.

[Casey Green]

Shooting a Doc about the start of Panavision would be pretty ironic. ;-)

Unfortunately I can't tell you what the most ironic ads were.

They got you under a confidentiality agreement eh? Heh

[Craig W. Bickerstaff]

I don't see the irony either.
