But you CAN shoot 4K images OF a child!
Good point. Nothing like a temper tantrum in 4k!

Even though I haven't put down the $ for a reservation (boy am I tempted!), I feel like I owe you money. I've learned so much about successful approach to starting and running a business because of the openness with RED's launch. And I've learned so much about many other things from the people who helped make RED possible.
To Jim, who made this happen. Thank you. To those who are creating this revolution, Thank you. To those who believed and took a very public leap of faith. Thank you. To those who share their knowledge so openly and so willingly. Thank you.
You are my heroes. Seriously.
Gratefully,
Dillon
Toronto is far? I am in Ghana, West Africa. RED, take your time.Mike I think you have made some very valid points, personally I live too far away to have to return a camera for repairs so I agree, Red should take the time to fix bugs so we don't have to stick Red stickers on HVX's (brilliant piece of work though)

I'll trade you a RENTAL of our RED for your lot in Park City!

I still bare scars from the NeXT computer that is sitting out in the shed... now Steve Jobs, he made the promises. Although now that I think about it, the aesthetics of the NeXT cube and the Red One jibe nicely. Maybe I could pull the insides out of the NeXT #1911 and fill it with some 8 core goodness. See that, twenty years later and I still remember the serial number for that computer... but I'm not bitter.
I have a two year old son (Sebastian). Watching him develop is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced in my 40 years on this planet. I remember his "infancy". When I look back now and play those memories in my mind I can only think of one adjective that almost does it justice -
Magical.
Infancy = Magical.
Yes, you are. You were hoping the Next was like the new Macs... it just took 10 years more to happen and cost a lot less. ;-) just @#$ with you man... How's Lisa and the old Apple 3, or did you not date those bitches!?!
LOL! Don't tell me you dated Mr. Newton, man...
I dated the Apple 2 in 1978, and a few clones until Jobs returned to the fold and forced me back... glad he did... better yet we can boot windows and use Scratch with RED!!! How cool is that?!
Nothing like Dating a RED and having a Scratch... hope it isn't serious? Always use protection....
My drink of choice is Diet Coke and my cigar of choice is a Cohiba Sublime (real one)... not to say I don't have other alternatives.
Jim

Seriously, do you still have a NeXT cube? I've been after one for a giant 'executive' toy in the corner of my office... Mmmm... Magnesium goodness.
