assuming no pun: I think everyone thought the writer's strike would last longer so scripted politics to provide the theatrics for the publics' consumption.

assuming yes pun: I thought it would break for the Hilarious One as well, but I'm not so sure anymore. :calm:

That was entertaining when i was little, gotta re-watch it.

Now that I finally watched Cloverfield, I think I understand what Macgregor was talking about. [or at least I think I do]

That was a really thrilling movie, but it had this major flaw.

There's no chance in hell for a tape or a flash card to survive a nuclear blast and be played back.

Especially when they were supposed to be near the monster.

And if it was a hydrogen [thermo-nuclear] explosion - well, that's 10 to 100 times more destructive than a "regular" A-Bomb.

Just one H-Bomb and not only Manhattan, but half the state is gone in an instant.

That's where you brought us, Einstein!

That thing with the tape was the main stupidity in this movie, but otherwise - very good!

I vote for orbital stations, carrying hi-capacity footage banks for Cloverfield sightings!
