  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

If you use a DSMC...

... does that make you a "cinemaphotographer"?

I think will make me a better story teller as I'll be able to tell my stories with a better tool, but will not surely make any one a Cinematographer...unless it is already one!!

ciao

... gotta read it more carefully. :-)

Is that what you guys do while you are waiting on renders? :)

Later,
Jason

Let me re-type that...

:) :) GOT IT NOW!!

Yes absolutely it will...give me the EPIC 645 as the set up I quoted on the more renders post, and I'll shoot my heart out! And the girls I'm sure will love the output as well:devil:

A tool... the right tool is half the JOB!

ciao

Does "Cinematography" mean cinematography?

The literal meaning is "Writing (graphy) with a medium that disseminates moving pictures (cinema)".

Unlike film, at least with the DSMC you are actually "writing" (in the storage sense)...

In truth I believe that the "DSMC" not only will be a great tool, but the perfect tool, literally TWO in ONE, and if I can switch at ease from Still to Motion capture then much the better, but even with little setting up, I'll still be caring ONE BODY, vs. two cameras, two set of lenses, ETC.

So yes the one single DSMC will make me a "CINEMA""PHOTOGRAPHER":) :)

ciao

...or maybe he means that he's making the cameras printers, too. Dangit, my R1 has no chance now.:clown2:

Well, with the capability of doing hi-res stills and hi-res video, I think this camera will make some people a cinemapornographer ®

Congrats for the ® !

Haha, not sure but it's really going to change what I am able to do underwater as I can never make a decision on whether to take my (expensive) stills rig or my (even more expensive) video rig.

Now I wont have to :)

I prefer CineMoTographer cause you are soo much MO now!!!

ah that?.. i forgot the big one.. i thought it should be the Scarlet S35 3K 60fps.. no sofa then.
