Hi all,
I was hoping to take advantage of your collective wisdom
Shooting a black comedy/drama piece for a friend next month and one of the locations is supposed to be an eerie shack and character interaction between a slightly unsettling and imposing hermit who lives there. While it isn't the case, it could easily be the shack of some horror movie serial killer.
My initial thoughts are to have a 5k or 10k through diffusion hitting that window, with something a touch smaller hitting the small window at the rear and to dirty up and dark areas of the main window to be a little selective about where light passes through and in what intensity, and perhaps have something practical like old mirrors or reflective junk on the opposite wall to bounce back along the remainder of the room. DF-50 hazer has been ordered and will no doubt be getting a lot of use to get some rays and ambience going as well. There will be three people in the scene and we're totally okay for them to move in and out of shadow
By all accounts we'll have a basic grip truck but if there are any suggestions you lovely people could make I can certainly recommend other kit to augment that.
Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ben
