IBC - Introducing RED COLLECTIVE

Holy Shats just seeing this... being a sponsered skateboarder at somepoint seeing this shit with Greg is bad ass. Shot some of the most iconic moment in skateboarding... I can undoubtably relate in that skateboarding and theater brought me to filmmaking. Stilll skate... still film make... been lucky to Direct names I dont even deserve to be in the room with... and I can not deny that RED has something to do with it. RED collective is a rad idea and def got me extra excited. I may only own a scarlet but it was still good enough to shoot willie nelson and no one got sour about it... big thumbs up RED keep on keepin on.

great piece. im in!

This was great. The format, the style, the length, the edit... It was all perfect. Looking forward to much from this series. Maybe one day I'll end up in one too. I also really liked the arsenal/gear list. Great job.

Anyone can tell me which tripod and head he is using? Love the Low Angle profile on that Tripod.

Thanks folks

Alain

I'd vote for a short on Inez and Vinoodh ! Jarred.... You can make this happen :)

Fantastic vignette, and such a wonderful choice for the first one!

Skateboarding was my primary motivation to enter the vast world of filmmaking as well, and Greg is one of the talented artists who kept me motivated throughout the years. One thing in particular that I want to give Red props for is demonstrating that Greg uses a very simple kit. It's very important for some of us to keep weight, complexity, and setup time to a minimum, but without sacrificing image quality, and this profile shows just that. Thanks Greg, and thanks Red; I hope you both keep it going!!
