There can’t be too many professional photographers that are also vintners??? Especially in Tasmania… there can’t be too many of you about… Is TAS best for growing RED or white I wonder?

I lived in Bergerac in France for a while and managed to successfully drink through my entire region that was quite a challenge*. I am very fond of the Red’s of course. Having your own vineyard/winery must be a lot of fun, and such fun can ONLY be had if you share the “produce”. That must be a real dilemma to share or not to share, keep it all to yourself or for it to mature properly or just say, f*ck it… let’s invite all my friends around and have a good old piss up.

Quite a dilemma I would think.

Everybody should have one of those...for sure...

(if only I could fix my Espresso machine... that makes a huge difference to preformance, very hard to work without a constant high octane supply of "coffe".

Interesting i never knew sharing was an option my friends just help them bloody selfs to the celler. Unlike mainland Australia we are cool climate much like france which means slower ripening for higher quality. Because we are small boutique vineyards there is not the topography for volume to make the shelves internationally. We like everyone else had the worst weather in recorded history for growing just about anything this year but did just bottled some sparkling which is looking good but the 4000 liters of pinot is drinkable but not worth bottling i think ill distal it and age some cognac in oak barrels among other things lol. Yes we do say fck it once a year ill let you know.

Oh you know i told you about stealing Nuggets goat i think it may have been his daughter i so yeah not a looker.

Got really exited today... the university where i work asked me to speck out a little R&D digital media studio there could be 120 K up for grabs needless to say i passed out when i woke up it hit me you see next door to the uni there is a museum where i do stuff to im kind of everywhere anyway they the museum have a cinema which never gets used except by me and the guys for a bit of ps3 from time to time anyway so in my head im thinking uni/museum so i said .....pause for breath ... well there is a lot of history here wouldn't it be great to film some of this in very high quality for culturally significant docs + art /student films .... there is this company called red and they got cinema quality cameras and soon projectors ... and i went on and told them the professer / director my hopes for the future .... God i can talk some crap anyway i think they bought it ... if not ill still have my scarlet and a 1080p projector on a massive cinema screen....Sweet.
