I am absolutely floored.

[NormLi]

I just shot my first EPIC short experiemental video today to quickly test my camera. Shot for a few hours with two models and playing with the footage now. I have to say, this is just incredible. Really. Wow.
Shot everything from 36, 48, 60, 96 fps at 5K FF 6:1. RPP's.

This was the first Vancouver-based EPIC shoot.

Camera performed beautifully, it's lightweight, modular, and the 5 second start-up time is incredible.

I think I'm in love.

I will be posting the video within a few days...

[Filip Orlandic]

Congrats Norm! Can't wait to see the video.

...and the 5 second start-up time is incredible.

5 seconds? This is absolutely fantastic

Epic is mind blowingly awesome! It's like broadband and everything else is dial-up.

I am glad you are enjoying your Epic.

Best,
Rich

[Dan Kanes]

Nice! Isn't it a great camera!?!

[NormLi]

I think it's 5-6 seoconds max. We all counted together....1 Mississippi...2 Mississippi...etc...and it came out to about 5..miini-

The camera is simply amazing. Can't wait to show everyone the footage.

Good luck shooting in BC. Spent so much time working up there, one of the most beautiful cities and regions of the world and
this is the loveliest time of the year. Congrats and can't wait to see footage

[Mike P.]

Hey Norm, I might be in Vancouver in the next few weeks, if your Epic isn't on the job and I have some free time, could I stop by for a quick demo? I'll buy you a beer...

[NormLi]

I will be posting the video, "COPE" in a few hours It went over very well at a DIT (IA669) workshop today.

I need a new habit other than sitting on the computer all day editing. I want to be out there capturing the good stuff.
