This is genius. Follow-focuses are too clumsy for handheld work and the thing I miss most about my EX-1 is how well I could zoom with it.

Yeah, looked at it, and would make for part of a good Eng configuration, if it could be made to work on scarlet. Jim, any support for the USB port this uses?

"The HandiZoom needs 5V-15V DC and works with common power sources such as Anton Bauer battery packs" ... so probably d-tap or something. Sounds flexible. I'll certainly look into buying one. I shoot a lot of ENG stuff on Epic...

I was going to say, cool, until I realised how any zeros where in the price. I think Red missed an opportunity nit making the previous scalet side mounted lens (flip it uoside down and for ef handers) plus if you hinge flip the mount, you get a font facing lens again. All the scarlet needs to be is a box, with external atrachable control modukes to do this.
