"How I Ended This Summer" ("Kak ya provyol etim letom")

A polar station on a desolate island in the Arctic Ocean. Sergei, a seasoned meteorologist, and Pavel, a recent college graduate, are spending months in complete isolation on the once strategic research base. Pavel receives an important radio message and is still trying to find the right moment to tell Sergei, when fear, lies and suspicions start poisoning the atmosphere...

Director and writer: Aleksei Popogrebsky
Cinematographer: Pavel Kostomarov

The Trailer looks very promising. Great pictures, very strong characters. I would like to see the movie. Any chance to get it on bluray soon? (No cinemas around here).
Thanks for sharing Dmitriy!

Information about premiere date is very different. I can't tell when you can see this movie in France. Wait...

Definitely one of the most beautiful trailers I've seen, ever. Really hoping that this film will screen also in Estonia, because watching it from a dvd or downloading it from the internet would really not give the same experience.

well done!

I also found this clip from Berlinare with the director talking about how he liked the RED, good stuff ;)

I agree... looks great!

Wow! 7 months editing 80 hrs of footage shot by a well rehearsed crew. An original intriguing concept with much thought behind it. It looks fantastic and I look forward to seeing it. What problems did you run into shooting in that environment?

Very very cool. reminds me of a top-notch 70s winter thriller, but with a totally modern edge. I would for sure pay to see this.

Beautiful images.

Long live the great Russian Cinema, one of my favorites. Wish it was better known in the West, besides Eisenstein and Tarkovsky.

Can't wait to see this one. Great images, but looks like great acting is also included in the package.

"Put a fish on your head. It's cold."

Love the process... 80hs, 7 months... I'd do it if I could.
Not sure about shooting 45min of someone playing video
games and keeping it all, but I am sure he was just trying
to make a point.
