I'm selling a Cooke 18-100 T3.0 in beautiful condition. This lens actually has never been used since I got it from Stuart at Focus Optics (who cleaned and lubricated it before selling it to me).

I put it up on a projector at Stratton Camera and it covered Super 35 nicely through the zoom range, held focus beautifully, and had no CA.

This lens is legendary(Kubrick loved it), and we're only selling it because we're using primes.

Comes with A&J style Hard Case with laser-cut foam, zoom motor bracketry, lens support, and rear filter holder.

$13,500

Hi,

Kubrick owned a 20-100 which was used on many films. Not sure he used a 18-100.

I can attest to the qualities of this lens. We use it and a 25-25o MKII on both of our cams and it has produced some incredible images. Something warm, silky and beautiful about the images it produces.

That Cooke is a beautiful lens. I think if I was going to be smart and bid on it I would wait until the last 2 hours not like the wankers who have already bid on it. It is great for the seller only to bid on it so early.

As far as anyone questioning the amount of money being spent on a lens sight unseen you can always make a request to the seller to go through Escrow. It is about a 3.5% charge but it covers your ass.

The High Bidder right now has a high bid on another fine lens too. I would be curious to know if they are getting them to use on a production or just stock piling for a rental house?:pirate:
