How do you plan on buying a SCARLET?

I too am hoping for a price point closer to the original 3k for $3k

that makes me think ... why price jumps from 3k to 6k ? what spec have been improved over the original spec .. HDRx ? build quality ? or wait and see (3rd nov isn't too far )

It is a company purchase for us. We will use it for a lot of our company's smaller projects and probably share it with friends who are into filmmaking too when we aren't using it.

I think the Scarlet will be the best tool on the market, to realize image, documentation films or what ever we can do with our budget.

Hope it is possible to order a produktion package with enough SSD cards and accessories, to have a good basic equipment...then i will order this...

Remember that PC that can edit RED footage, SSD's, rail accesories, base plates etc will cost another 10.000$ for you. add 2k$ to that if you need Canon mount.
