I thought I know my way around RCXP, normally I do export as separate clips but now I want it as one whole edit... still no matter what I sellect RCXP exports on a clip per clip basis...

So which of these settings are "export timeline", I missing something obvious here I think...

Lots of lawyers and attorneys around here... But maybe there is still somebody here that have some sort of knowledge around RCXP and can give a quick answer to a simple workflow question... above. Thank you in advance.

You're doing it right. I just tested this and it worked for me.

Thank you bob, but no. It does not work for me I name my export "timeline" but in the export directory I get each and every clip named as they where exported as separate clips...

Latest update installed.. the timeline was made in Premiere. Confusing, never do it this way normally but this time I needed to move fast... now I lost more time than if I would have edit the stuff straight in flame...

Another thing I realized is that Flame does not like premiere XLM's but that's another story, but it keeps me from going that rute now... suck.

Are you running the latest build?

Even more odd... when I do the same thing and sellect quicktime, RCXP renders for a long time and then there is no file in the folder when finnished..

Now it works for some reason with tiff, even though my export seem to take the file name from the first clip in timeline or such. Quicktime proress still have difficulties... no existing file when finnished. Kind of a bummer after waiting 45 minutes for it to export.

Also a note about files on the Mac in general is if you are overwriting a file, makes sure its not highlighted in the finder. I remember in using shake back in the day, it would render for hours to find nothing actually rendered. Make sure it's dumped in the trash or renamed.

It's still wrong, I guess a renaming software would solve the issue. As now it export the timeline but the frames are named with their source clips name but get the sequence numbers right it does not name it sequence.0001.tiff and so on instead taking the actually name from the clips used for the specific frames... making it hard to import as one clip without having the files renamed first...

Odd that others do not have this issue.

We had the issue a month or so ago. No idea what we did or didn't do apart from thinking it was some sort of unspecified bug or our ineptitude. be good if we can find a solution to this.

Hi Björn,

Can you send me an email at redcinex at red dot com, with a more detailed description of what you are doing and how you can reproduce this? That way I can take a deeper look -- I havent been able to recreate so far.

Thanks,
David
