This film used with the REDRAY & a high end projector with reverse or flip projection will be the next big thing here in the USA....Europe is doing it now and it is exploding there!!!! You can use interactive touch foils to create huge windows and turn them into active working IPADS!!!!! The possibilities are awesome with this technology . This will be the future!!!

Also your post is interesting, I felt shouted at with all those caps. Not serving you or your message.
I agree about the commercial value of a redray but I would wait untill I see it to make a judgement.

I still have a big piece of 3M's Vikuiti™ sample that I ordered years ago from them. I don't know how the technology has evolved since then in this matter, but, all I can say is , I can make a projection in daylight with full sunlight with a very good brightness and contrast . I guess your system is way better since REDRAY is a 4k laser projector, and your film should have a better performance. Thanks for sharing. :yesnod:

Dan,

I just want to make one obeservation: The audio level is very high on the demonstration clip.

Perhaps that's effective, but I find it makes the clip essentially impossible to listen to. So I just left your site and moved along. Not saying that will be others' responses, but I thought you should know.

Good luck.

Peter, Thanks for messaging but what demo are you talking about?? The link was to where people interested in the projector film can view it and buy it!! Its not my video but thanks anyways bro!! -Best

Dan, looks like you have some great stuff there. But I do have to put on my moderator hat and say that you're treading on some thin ice in regards to the forum advertising policy. Please send a PM to Jason Ramsey to discuss this further.

Hi Jeff, No intended disrespect here Jeff, I was simply trying to bring new business ideas to our colleagues here on this forum that I thought would help them bring about new ways to generate money by using RED products. Im not "advertising" anything I personally own or manufacture here, only bring about awareness to some ideas for those interested in pursuing business ideas with RED products.

Since ALL my ideas do incorporate the use of RED products I didn't think I was violating any forum policy by suggesting some really good ideas for RED products here. If I have erred in doing so please by all means let me know what better forum can I speak to our constituents.

I included a link to where someone can look into "signage" ideas to broaden their scope of delivery not popular here in the USA just yet. The reason for me touching base on the topic was simply because it suggests to those interested in REDRAY on the RED website that it makes a great device for public signage display. So, other than me giving FREE ADVICE, I didn't think I was "advertising" or selling anything. Again my post was strictly for awareness of different things that can be done with a great product like the REDRAY, If Im wrong I do apologize.

Respectfully, Dan Frenkel

Ok Jeff, per your request, I PM'd Mr. Ramsey about whatever advertising policy I may have violated. Also I have one question on my alleged advertising policy violation, but first I would like to compare my post simply as an awareness post. I have read hundreds of posts by hundreds if not thousands of REDUSERS on this forum about third party battery solutions. Did they violate an advertising policy when they merely mentioned that they are out there, or is there a little more leniency to our "freedoms of speech" here. Please advise on what we can say here and what we can't....I was really unaware that we were NOT free to discuss certain business ideas with the use of RED products.

I was under the impression that we could freely discuss technology on this forum and that we were not "censored".

Respectfully, Danny Frenkel

Dan,

what we need to know is whether you are involved with Prodisplay or not. A simple disclaimer to make sure your are not advertising.

Thanks.

Hi Mr. Weiss, I am not in any way affiliated with Prodisplay. I linked their site only because I think the technology used in conjunction with the REDRAY and a projector is a cool way of new advertising technics currently popular in Europe but not known to most Americans. Im just looking out for my colleagues here on the REDUSER forum.

With all due respects Sir,

Bro ;),

From the page your link opens:

"... Our Pro Diffusion rear projection film is also available as an interactive touch foil ideal for Digital Signage. Click to see a video of our Pro Diffusion Interactive Touch Foil in action."

can I ask what sort of film or projection screen foil you guys are using or recommend and where to purchase it ?

There are many different types out there to choose from, Im still researching the best but Its available from several companies online. Just google search "projection film" and many will pop up!!! Some are better priced and may be cheaper to get as far as shipping is concerned!!! Good luck!!!!

We are going to RED STUDIOS Hollywood on Friday to look at the awesome things the REDRAY can do. I will be placing an order for one at least for our private screening cinema. I have heard really incredible abilities about this. Its a must have item to take the technology and progress into the future in this business.

3D POLARITY

3D POLARITY

does this film maintain polarity for 3d?

YES it does. They have film made just for 3D but the high density reflective projection is fine for 3D projection. I tried it and it does work!!!!
