Hi Dan,
Finally got back here to check on things. If you're not affiliated with this prodisplay company, then you haven't violated anything. I guess I was under the impression that you were involved with them or pimping their products intentionally. As for others you mention that are always promoting some new battery plate or other little gizmo in the accessories section, it's a non-stop job for us moderators to try and keep tabs on that. Satisfied customers posting about the new battery plate doohickey they just bought is fine. Companies coming here to blatantly advertise is not OK as the forums are sponsored by those who advertise in banner ads and get permission to advertise. Our challenge is when the latter of those two situations disguises itself as the former -- the "hey guys, I just bought this awesome new widget for my camera!" and then we find out later that the poster is really an employee or other affilate of the company that makes said widgets.
Anyway, carry on... And you're right about this 4K rear projection thing. It's going to be huge! My corporate clients eat this kind of stuff up. 4K rear projection is going to make for some really nice interactive billboards, wall advertising, etc.. I did an interactive touch-screen wall project last year... I only wish 4K was available then!
