  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hm...

Yeah, I think that the technology will develop to a higher and higher resolution with better cycles per second until the point that it's pixel mapped against the pixels of the 2D image and updates just as fast as 25 fps 2D. When that happens you would be able to key out a person without green screen or create 3D mapping onto the 2D image without complicated 3D conversion.

I think that this will be the the near future of VFX and 3D movies :)

I tend to agree...

I think the future is allready here. This was done last week as a test, took a few hours with a bit of camera issues reshoot/resets etc, if we needed to do it again, it would be less than an hour.

Really cool

And Syntheyes seems like a friendly place...

Syntheyes isn't a them...its a him...1 developer

Email Russ, and if you catch him in a good mood he can integrate it very quickly.

I asked for some fairly complex additions to syntheyes in the past in regards to texture extraction, he wanted to know why I needed it....then once he was convinced sent me a beta with the new features implemented that very same afternoon.

You just need to convince :)

THX
I have had some dialogue with him and he seems like a very accommodating guy.
