  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

History...

This is awesome, helps a LOT Jim - thanks! (P.S. - I was going to say the same thing others did about Jarred, the Fire Chief deserves some love!)

You know, I think a torpedo does make a good coffee table. Sure, it won't hold your coffee. Or really act as a table. But it certainly sets a tone.

Heh heh heh don't worry guys I feel the love..., it just took us a few minutes to figure out when Jim and I actually tied the knot :) Jim just updated the post.

heh heh heh.. that was fun. Unfortunately the slideshow goes missing half way through, but that thread is still there: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?57490-Jarred-visits-Red-HeadQuarters

That is utterly, exceptionally, cool. Thanks big man!

I think I get where Jim is coming from with the Judge Dredd Landrovers now :D

My former HQ in Cambridge UK resembled RED HQ in no way... except I'll see his torpedo and raise him a Matra Martel anti-ship missile, which we had nailed to the wall for decoration. I never even though of trying to get it through customs when we moved to the USA... not quite sure what became of it. Think the new owners appropriated it. Better than ending on a watch list for life!

Wow.

I'd totally forgotten about that thread. I remember reading it when it was fresh, and then showing it to one of my editing interns.

Seems like a lifetime ago...

It's really interesting how the futuristic industrial design of your cameras and accessories has changed over time.

It has remained very forward thinking, but is now tempered by a lot more real world production experience.

There should be a listing for the first mention of Red on the internet (the one with the mind-blowing specs). I remember it, but not sure exactly when or where it was.

nice! that would be awesome if someone knew how to make an interactive timeline or something... complete with those new moving pictures and all sorts of swag. the logo progression is sick!

There he is! Hi Mike. I am confident Jim won't forget you in Red's history either. None of us will :)

But hopefully as a supporter as well as a voice of reason. I like to think of myself as both..... :patriot:

Wow, that post brings back so many memories...I had the distinct impression of having a sneak peek at the Bat Cave or something....

Jarred, Jim once said your like him but with more energy, so how does that work with your tied knot ;-) does Jim nag you to slow down and breathe? Lol
