My workplace finally got a UHD t.v. this morning, I put it out myself. However we did not get the flash drive with video content to show off the t.v. Would anyone be willing to share some 5-10mins content that I could throw inside a flash drive to playback on the set? It's nothing stellar, Thanks in advanceThis is what we got:http://www.costco.com/Hisense-55"-C...10701&keyword=Hisense&langId=-1&storeId=10301IMG_20131115_131413.jpgIMG_20131115_131539.jpg

Costco you say......

Rad. I haven't seen this display yet. I wonder what's in there panel-wise.

Yes sir. After trolling the interwebs for a while, it might be a samsung panel. *might* :)

I have a feeling Jeff Kilgroe is gonna be busy with his new lenses soon, but I'd love to know if he's seen this little bugger.

Is this the one that has HDMI 2.0? Or was it the Sharp that did

I don't know, I'll snap an image tomorrow in the morning for the forum. Maybe it's tagged on by the ports... HDMI1 was tagged UHD though.

It's Says, one dedicated UHD-HDMI port is waiting for your 4K media player (I'm guessing this means HDMI 2.0)

Not available in Canada...but Costco does have the Toshiba 65", although it's $5,700. We're still getting gouged by premium mark up.

So, What say you? Can anyone please share some stock footage... something with some nature, humans, cars, whatever is possible. I would do this myself, I am saving for my camera. :)

What format do you need it in, I can get you a few shots to test with.

Thanks. Hisense tried to pull a fast one past us yesterday. We(Costco) received our flash drive with 4k(UHD), turns out it is only 1080p. Anyway, UHD/MP4 files do not work on this thing, it is the strangest thing, I tried some Youtube content on it and I got a no joy. The specs match up minus resolution, video plays only audio comes out, no picture.

Saw the TCL, and it looked pretty low res on the demo footage too. It depends on what they put in there to play video, like a cheap low end /old processing fullhd engine.

I don't think ANY of the 4K panels play 4K from a USB stick. Only way is via a media player/computer connected via HDMI.

Upcoming units will. The cheapo panels usually won't have on-board decoders for anything but that will change as the video decoder chips for 4K h.264 are now in mass-production and HEVC chips will follow next year.
