  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Looks great Nick- nice you have control over all the workflow…. I almost never get that….
 
We just got written up in Gawker. Haha. Contrary to how Gawker may feel, I actually think "the kids" are loving the spot. Runway hasn't had this much buzz in years, so it must be doing something right!

Yes, you can say it again:)
Controlling Resolve with something like TeamViewer is quite painful and unresponsive, but in a pinch it does the job.
It also worth mentioning, that for some dailies work in the same short turnaround we also offer number of looks for the client approval and choosing prior to doing dailies, which clients enjoy quite a bit.

This footage looks so much better than the regular show they put over the air for broadcast.

No idea what camera they use but it's quite flat/fuzzy and the show is kinda dim looking.
It really looked alot better back when it aired on the BRAVO network. But seems like it's
still just as popular as ever so it didn't hurt the ratings at all.

Hey Steve, it's same production company they've always had...but I did check out what camera's they used on set, and it seemed like classic Broadcast ENG. Not sure what kind of grades they can pull from that, but my hunch is they've been shooting show same way for quite some time. That said, compared to reality shows shooting on C300 etc, not sure how this more traditional approach fares...

Thanks Akin! Lifetime's inhouse creative did an amazing job on edit, agreed. They have some amazing editors!
