One of our EPIC X's was delivered a few weeks ago and being away shooting for a month in China, I have only just opened the cardboard box...
The coolest thing when unpacking was seeing the aluminium case! the EPIC X comes in... completely useless... but sooooooo frickin coool! My shelves in my office are only for my own special little collectables... And that case gets a spot all for itself !

Im going to get my original REDONE back.. thats going to sit beside it. :)

Nice one RED, I love cool packaging, for some reason it makes what's inside even more special.

PS... Im off to do a quick helicopter shot tomorrow... I haven't travelled with a camera in a back pack for years!!! - I've usually got a camera truck in tow with a few AC's tagging along... Its going to be so much fun !!!

I was reading an industry article several years ago about how it is required to have obligatory trinkets and doo dads in one's office to be serious about one's profession. It would be amusing to see some of the various collections.

Mark, I must say you are one of my favorite redusers.
Your posts are inspiring and you have an ability to make things like shooting, cutting and grading sound doable and fun instead of the opposite :)
Thank you for all your contribution here on the forum and keep up the good work

Like the fact that Red just decided this was a good idea and created a special shipping package for a special camera... no extra charge. This will be great for shipping the camera to and from Red when necessary. Also, if the camera is shelved for any amount of time, this makes a great lockable protective covering against curiosity seekers.
