  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Been an avid shoput user and still feel the value in this software HOWEVER....

I gave Hedge a try and ran the trial (you need to run that to get the full speeds - not just the free version). And it ran twice as fast as shotput. Made our wrap out much faster. Does a checksum. Copying to two drives at once - both drives maintained the same speed. Neither ran slower. Interface is super simple. I have been looking at Hedge. Just haven't had a reason to buy... yet. This may be it.
 
Is there a way to track the discount level? Can we get a sense of how much we'll end up paying by some sort of sales count?
 
Ok...one of the reasons shotput is so valuable is because it processes each file through a checksum while it transfers...ensuring no curupted video files. Does this software also do that? this is the main appeal of shotput.
 
Of course, we don't even consider it a feature but a must. Hedge uses xxHash64 throughtput its process.

Terry, I'll update the start post with the current discount. Right now we're at the first tier of 20%.

Really? Ok this just got interesting... can the 3 seats for business span across PC or mac once PC version is out? and whats ETA on PC version?
 
Already a Hedge user, but thought I'd drop a recommendation. Amazing software. Couldn't recommend it enough!

My favourite feature, which hasn't been mentioned so far is the iPhone app. It lets you track offload progress on your Mac, and will send you a notification when its done. Its amazing at wrap if you want to start a card dump and go continue packing up. You know the second its done so you can run back and get another going.

I've been using Hedge for about 10 months and think it's great!

This pricing is already super reasonable, and I know I'm an edge-case, but would be interested in upgrading my personal license to a 3-seat company license as a part of this GB... if possible. Sorry, I know it's a weird request.

Anyways, Paul, you're doing great work! I hope you keep the interface nice and simple like this, which I know can be tough as you keep adding features... but I love what you've done so far. That you're in Amsterdam makes it all the better :D

Upgrading your license is no problem at all, it just takes a bit of work on our side in replacing your keys. Just order two seats through the group buy link and we'll consolidate your license keys into a new one.
 
I have used several transfer products and when this came on my radar, it seemed to tick all the boxes, some which the others didn't. Couldn't be more excited to have this opportunity to get it at favorable pricing.

I tried out the free hedge version and really liked the interface. I've been dragging my feet on buying the full version, but this looks like the perfect opportunity!

Company Licenses are possible too, just order the amount of seats you want in one go and we'll reach out to ask if you want to consolidate them in a single Company License.
 
does any find that this works faster than just dragging and dropping on mac? working between a couple gtech raids
