We are on a shoot right now and all of a sudden the HDRx option is not selectable. we were shooting in 5k ff, 23.98, and were not if magnify mode. it was working yesterday, but today its greyed out. any thoughts with that limited information?

did a full reset and all is right again, but still curious why it would just go away.

HDRx can be disabled for the following reasons:
1. Magnify Mode Enabled
2. Test Pattern Enabled
3. Frame Processing Enabled
4. Ramp Mode Enabled
5. Sync Mode set to "Genlock" or "Moco"

Not to derail, but what is moco sync more exactly?

I'm not an expert in this area, but I will try my best to explain.

MoCo stands for Motion Control. In this mode a frame is captured on each rising edge of the sync input. In this mode, the sensor frame rate you select has no effect on the capture rate, but should be chosen close to what the expected rate of the sync line is so that the min REDCODE calculations will be calculated correctly. Also, once you start recording you will only see frames when a sync pulse comes, which means if there are no pulses you won't see a live preview (when not recording we will free run the preview so you can still frame the shot, etc).
