  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone tried the Hyperdeck Shuttle 2?

Bummer should make a Star that is just sdi. I don't want to review anything just want to have the proxies at the ready. Super interested in the shogun as 1080p monitor and proxies, but everyone has scared me about customer support.

Hey Jacob,

We're hired more people for each region and changed our ticket system which used to cause problems. Remember we are a new company to have moved quicker than any other player in the market, with key players from Blackmagic.

How many other companies can you phone up and talk to the CEO in this game? We listen closely to user feedback.

Shogun is also a product that users will also help shape over time through software updates, so I think from a user perspective, it's cool to be able to request features and see them end up in the product. I've seen feature requested from users at I filter back that end of in our current range.

The star, we never intended it to be aimed at someone with the budget of the a RED user, however it's turned out to be a really nice side effect. So we are looking at how to integrate better with RED users.

Thanks Jacob hopefully when the Shogun ships it's a product that meets your needs, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

Regards,

Alan, great idea replacing the Mini DIN jacks with Mini BNC jacks. I'm going to email you a couple questions about that.

Thanks for sharing.

I've double rolled every shoot for over a year with no problems. I also use an L shaped DIN connector that I have taped down to the body of the Hyperdeck. The Hyperdeck is mounted to the side of my Scarlet with a bracket I made. The bracket, a thin piece of aluminum with industrial velcro on it, is connected to a cheese plate where the side handle would be. This keeps the body small and works great. I also run a Dtap from the AB batt plate to the Hyperdeck.

Keith have photos?

I also created a custom bracket out of alluminum (I've since painted it black). It bolts into my WC Easy Riser.
