It is right to think that the hard disk space is this? At 4K: 37seg/1GB, 20min/32GB, 1.45hr/320GB, 20hr/3T200GB and 2K is possible to speak of a reduction of about 50%?

Those numbers are about right. Its about 30% more storage for RC36 vs RC28, and 16:9 vs 2:1 changes things as well, so does frame rate of course.

Check out Isee4k, the iphone app by ed watkins. Always helps me.

Also, going to 2k is 25% the storage, not 50%, because you're actually dealing with 1/4 of the sensor, not 1/2. Data is proportional to the square of horizontal resolution. So the 9k epic will have 5.06x the data as the current camera. Plus it might be 16 bit redcode, not 12. Cooool.

thanks JBV, the Isee4K is very good tool for various calculations, it is a pity not yet exist for other platforms. Or is there something similar to calculate the size of files from different settings?
We can always check the properties of each file, but is not very practical.
Anyway, by your comment I found this site with very good information:

Good job's, mundods.
