  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It will be ready two weeks after I pick up my F3. It makes no difference what date that will be but I will bet two bottles of my home made vintage tuesday "Red" that will be the case.

Brian you fool! If you would have ordered your F3 in January when it first dropped, I could have had a Scarlet by mid-Feb.

So pissed... now I know who to blame ;)

I dig the dilemma for guys with deadlines but this is really close.
 
I apologize you guys...I was shooting with the HMC 150 making money to buy the F3 so I could sell it to buy the Scarlet when it comes out so I could kiss the Bank Managers butt (you should see her!) and buy and epic. I mean cut me some slack dudes.... it is gonna happen. Check out my last name... Murphy's law. I am tellin' yaa.
 
I had a vivid dream last night I had a Scarlet, I lost it and went crazy trying to find it. ;) I'm taking this as a sign, its coming very soon........:w00t::w00t::w00t:
 
Just keep an eye on Recon... it will be faster then we will expect. So just be ready... Hold on.
 
I saw something somewhere that RED was thinking about changing the sensor size now in the Scarlet....is this true or just people talking? I haven't been able to find the original information, just other users posts. If that is the case wouldn't that mean scarlet was further off then everyone would want?

If you don't see it posted from someone with a RED name, it was probably pure speculation. Speculation has been running wild in these parts of late!

Well I mean there is speculation because it makes sense and could happen. I'm not for it if it causes a price increase though. 2/3 is more then good for most of what I'll be shooting.
 
Saw this a while back. This was posted after the tsunami disaster in june so I think he was taking into consideration the delays as a result. So it could be somewhat accurate. But like they Jim always says "Everything in life changes... including our camera specs and delivery dates..."

This is huge speculation... 4K MX? nah.. but it make sense a little bit.. but after all the 2/3 3K sensor should be the right one for Scarlet I think.. (we don't need another dramatic price change, right?)
I hope they will come out with Scarlet by December 2011 but again.. after all it will be probably NAB 2012.. :-)
