I've always been a fan of their products...running a Gratical HD Group Buy a while back. They stand behind the products they create, and they really have the feature sets that us cinematographers need. The Kameleon is no different. Being a smaller EVF, it really appeals to those trying to keep their kits small/light, while not sacrificing on building quality or feature sets.

Could you tell me more about the EVF? I use the Gratical EYE and find the resolution to be the only hickup.

Can you hear the fan?
Is it a 4/3 OLED containing a 16/9 1920x1080 image?

"You don't need Full HD EVF. Ok we got one Full HD but 720p would be enough. But 4k will never happen as it's useless"

Are they serious? Let a new company develop a 4k display and see how Zacuto will come buy their tech to be part of the evolution.

I've been using the full HD Balckmagic EVF and you bet can see the difference.

4k will come and I hope we will have the same experience as in front of a 4k monitor.


Now how does this cooling fan sound?

This thing is crazy sharp and the screen is great! I haven't used in extreme conditions, but that fan is negligible and not an issue at all from my tests.

Have you been both shooting at 24FPS while panning slowly with this EVF?

I know you want to sell a lot of these, but as most people here I'm guessing have never had their eye in it, I'd like your genuine honest opinion about how the EVF performs in this situation.

Ok...I've tried capturing it on multiple different cameras from inside the EVF, but it's just not an accurate representation of what it looks like. The EVF is exactly the same as the Small HD ultra bright series, Osee monitors, etc. There's no noticible difference in delay or lag. Plus, you can try it for 14-days, and if you don't like it, return it.
