  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy - Teradek Bolt

Hi Phil,

And we Norbert sneaking in there at the last minute we have made a successful Group Buy with 76 participants!

Just a reminder, you'll have about two weeks to settle up with the web portal and Teradek to pay for and process your order. Likely around October 7th, 2018 will be the cutoff there. In the case of the DSMC2 Bolt, as that's not out yet, this is considered a pre-order and that will process in the near future. Teradek will be handling all that.

Just some personal professional tips, especially for those renting their new kits out or who shoot fairly often. Always good to grab a few extra cables. They always seem to go missing or somebody shuts them in a van door or something. You've all got hard cases, so you'll be protected from most chaos on that front.

If for whatever reason you are on the participants list and you didn't get the web portal link, hit me up, but I was pretty thorough. Check those PMs.

Heh. I've been in out of town twice during this GB, but I'm back at the hut finally to wrap things up and to catch up on like a bazillion things.
 
Recieved my 500XT Set. Came with a nice hard case. Thanks for doing this Phil.

We do not accept payment information over email. All sales will be conducted over the phone. Our team is reaching out to every person that filled out the Web Form with their basic contact details.

Got a call from Teradek and paid over the phone. Went really smoothly. I was even able to use the CA teleproduction tax exemption for this too. Just had to email them the form.

Thanks for organizing this Phil! I know you're super busy with 10 million other things too, so I appreciate the time you took on this. This is the second thing I got with a GB on Reduser, my first one was the RTmotion Latitude kit and it's performed flawlessly. Saved so much money on that one too.

Nice to hear Homer. My RTmotion gear is still going strong. Glad that saved some coin.

Damn, just got back feom a shoot with no internet coverage and missed this!
If anyone picked up a Sidekick or 2 in this (or a 3000!) and has second thoughts I'll gladly take it off your hands

Hi, Mike! I'm not sure if my number appeared correctly in the form. I've not recieved any information other than the confirmation email after filling out the web-form. Am I just not patient enough, or did you guys have issues with contacting me? I'd love to know!

For what it's worth, I spoke with Kyle from Teredek over the phone and he took my CC info. If that email is legit, it really shouldn't be. Please don't ever share your CC info via email attachments, it's insecure and just asking for trouble!

Any-who, thanks so much for putting this together Phil. Very much looking forward to the wireless upgrade! :cheers2:
