+1 for Zach Salsman, thank you for setting this up!

+1 Please! Eric Branco.

Thanks for this. Was probably going to buy one this week...

I'm finding the monitor and what I see on my camera screen (1DC) is very different in terms of color. I'll have to shoot some tests to see if my on camera monitor is close or if the small hd is closer. I bought this as a directors / client monitor and I'd like to provide the best image to my client rather than having to explain each time why the color isn't the same. If theres some type of other calibration I could do, would love to get some direction.

Overall, digging the monitor though.  Would like to get it closer in color. Cheers!

i have to say when i had a tv logic on my 5dmk3, i would get closer to what i had on the monitor then the camera screen, but that being said, let us know. there are a lot of complaints about exposure and color not being representative of whats being captured. That screwed me once on a cheap ikan monitor on my first 5d shoot ever, i wish there was a lut created for every camera system that is more accurate…or what if people with an epic actually set their sdi output to another color space, or maybe even raw? id love to hear some test for the best setup, so far i have "turn the backlight all the way down".

There are NO color calibration controls in this monitor, just brightness and contrast in a separate "calibration" section of the monitor. In that same section is the option to load a 3d calibration LUT, which is the answer. This is independent of creative LUTS you apply on pages FYI

PS - just found out you can tap up on the joystick to zoom in (twice), then click it and drag around the magnified area. Super cool
