  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I'm still waiting for some sort of reply. Maybe I am just not getting their emails to me. I've paid my deposit haven't heard anything in a couple months. Just a ticket confirmation from zendesk.

Jarek, sorry! I thought I'd replied. My colleague has been readying an email to the handful of customers who didn't settle the deposit with the proposed plan... will email that to you later today!

Hey everyone Kris Bird from RT Motion emailed me today regarding a new group buy:

Me -- Will there be another Reduser or similar group buy?

"None is planned sorry. We might consider it in the new year but to be honest we're struggling to keep up with regular sales, so as much as I want to do one, it's not going to happen until we have sales plateaux or capacity increase more than demand (been working on that)"
 
I heard the same thing from them as well. Going to hold out for another group buy. Hope there'll be one soon - even if the delivery timeline is farther out.
 
I think that's a pretty touchy subject. But I will say that they both offer slightly different accessories. The monitor yoke is really simple and effective. They're both great systems. I do not know yet what support from CMR will be like. Time will tell I guess.

Nice review Bob. The RT Motion is looking good....better than the Redrock. How does it compare to a Bartech, do you know?

I've never used the Bartech but from those that have like the RTMotion more. I'll have a more in-depth review once my Schneider lenses show up. So far the RTMotion is awesome. Especially that thumb wheel.
