  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

You are quite welcome Blair. I just want to get us all the best deal possible without violating any agreements. Folks who put their money down entered into an agreement and have expectations. They should be heard out before we modify the deal.
 
Jacek is happy to extend the deal one more week but this would mean extending the shipping deadline to 11/30 so that he and his people have time to contact everyone and process the orders. The difficulty there he tells me is not supply but processing.

Gunleik is on board and he suggests that the other Moderators are OK with the extension.

It seems to me that the most reasonable thing to do is to make the extension. If any of the folks who have already put down deposits prefer that their unit ships by 11/22 they can be accommodated. They would just need to contact Jacek within the next few days and let him know. (There are only a few participants with deposits who I have not yet heard from.)

(10/23 edit) The majority of the #18 have responded to the extension positively. Only a few members with confirmed deposits have not been in contact with me. Dan McCain, Jon Ellison and Michael O'Donovan if you are averse to waiting, Jacek informs me that he will ship your orders on or by 11/22 if you prefer. Just let him know and pay in full before 11/15.

I think it's very smart to extend it by a week to ensure we have a few more commitments - it's likely that there will be one or two names that don't follow through - and that would cause more headaches than waiting a week for a couple new buyers.

We lost one so we are not quite to tier 3 yet. You might hold off until we get a couple more. The decision is yours.

Thanks for the test Jack (and also to Gunleik) for providing some hands-on experiences. I'm getting more and more convinced that this is a great tool!
