  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

OptiTron accepts anything from 5V+ to 32V I'm pretty sure you can find the power source on camera ;-)

Yes absolutely
We tested URSA we borrowed from them and it turns out that for OptiTron2 to work well with it they need to tidy up their protocol implementation.
I sent them our recommendations
I haven't had time lately to inquire but will do asap....

Any chance to see photos of focus unit in wireless setup? I like to examine ergonomics of combined transmitter and focus unit. Does unit have look and feel of an integrated wireless unit or is transmitter a bolt on accessory? I realize this same unit attaches to camera as a follow focus wheel so assumed it must be modular.

At least put up a video showing unit 360 degrees without a hand covering part of view. Thanks

Yes to Nikon and Canon on RED. They are both supported.

Yes on the light weight bracket, no on the wireless receiver. The standard kit has dove tail lock on the OptiTron2, battery cage and the 15mm clip on bracket.
We can add the male/female dove tail a'la carte
