  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Litepanels Gemini

Hey Travis, thanks again for helping put this together! Question: I'm having a hard time finding any official output specs. Newsshooter lists one distance Lux measurement, but would be really helpful to know something as simple as the peak Lumen output. And if that isn't available, 3 or 4 FC or Lux measurements. Thanks!

Hey Tanner, check this newsshooter article out. A few paragraphs into the review they list output as 927FC at 1m which is approx 3.25ft. Hope that helps!

Travis how well does the Gemini play with DS1's? have you messed around with mixing/matching them?

Yup. They both look great on people, and that's what I love about 'em. I'm building a lighting, g/e estimate now for a series run and it's a lot of Litepanels and DS1s. Getting spoiled by the ability to control both from my phone!

For those who haven't had their hands on these, the Gemini 2x1 are one of my favorite more recent lights. Been using them for a while and have 3 at the moment.

Basics about what's good about them:

- Great output
- RGBWW produces clean white light
- Full control over color, saturation, and luminance
- Lots of FX modes
- Good build quality
- Real easy to grip and setup, ballast is built into the unit
- Very quiet on set

Monstro frame grab lit with 3X Geminis.
