  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi Pierre, I've changed my mind and want the hard case if it's not too late?

Did some figuring. And this is for everyone, not to Pierre. Pierres case is $552 U.S. At this time. Nearest sized case I found is pelican 1630. Bh has it for $310 with pluck apart foam. Savings around $242. Big savings but then you have to spend time with foam to get it right and you'll never get the arm cutouts in the lid like that with 1630 unless you do custom. No idea on what that goes for probably close to the $242. Plus the time to go get said foam. And time to dick with pluck apart foam.

I don't have the time to do that so I am in for the hard case. Wish it was included like we thought, but thats done.

Speaking of time, I would order the case now but don't know if it's too late because my Exo shipped or not. Could you let me know either way Pierre before I place order? If it's not too late will order Friday.

Hi Pierre can I change mine to a hard case also i will sort a wire transfer today. It makes sense to transport it properly, it is what it is. Thanks for all your hard work
 
Pierre, after thinking about it some more and reading some of the others posts I think it does make sense to go with your hard case which is ready now. In the end it'll just be easier.
 
I was in the top 15 on the original list and paid up at the very beginning. Still haven't heard anything about shipping. What's up?
 
Terry, shipments are running at full speed but smoothly: we are shipping tons (literally) of exos everyday. Yours should be there with you mid next week I guess.
Ivo, we have your VAT number, so yes you will be invoiced without French VAT.
 
Pierre, did my Exo ship yet? Have a day off and could purchase a case if not. Please get back to me today if possible.

Could anyone who has received their exoskeleton advise me on how to adjust the lifting strength or tension (I believe these are the same!) of the unit? If Pierre has the time and responds with a simple instruction here I am sure it could help others, or if anyone who has experience could point me in the right direction, I am sure it will do the same :) As we are not too familiar with steadicam-type equipment and thus are not completely certain of the right way to adjust the unit.

Just for an update so that I didnt steer anyone in the wrong direction before. When order placed the cost with "Taxes" went up to $667 US dollars for Exo custom case....ugh. Not the $5oo something I said before. Sorry.

Also the case I looked up thru BH was 31" not 34" long. Sorry about that. Actually I don't see anything that exact Exo size case. Next size up is pelican storm 3075 at $335 US with pluck foam. Its half the price of Exo case, but again deal with getting the foam perfect and neat and lasting. Tough call....

The call should be easy. Just buy the one already made by the manufacturer. ;-) I just got notification this morning my exo in hard case will be at the doorstep Tuesday. Woohoo! Looking forward to seeing the tutorial video Pierre! Can you do an all in one video for dummies that answers any assembly/setup questions. (Putting together out of case, adjusting tension, etc.) Thanks!
 
Hmm? Tried to order thru that link you sent and it charged the taxes. Didnt complete the order. What did I do wrong?
