  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

To be fair to the 30, can you at least show who has paid a deposit? Or are you saying none of them have?
 
Hey, to those out there who hanve't paid their balance. We went in this group buy with the assumion that yuo'd be in on it too. You bail and it can potentially scuttle the whole deal. So please, pay your balance. And you've nothing to lose. If you love it, you got a piece of gear for less than half of retail and if you don't , considering the price, you'll easily be able to sell and perhaps cover the invonvenience and them some. Hopefully it's the former.

All the names in the page 1 post 6 list have paid their deposit. Now it's about the balance.
 
I contacted Pierre last week, if all goes well, I should be able to start a transfer Monday 13th (I am reliant on cash coming in (outstanding invpice), as we we can't pay via PayPal and I can't fund on my CC at the moment, a matter of controlling cashflow).
 
When I paid, Pierre said "According to your place in the queue, you will be served right before or right after NAB."
It obviously isn't happening before NAB but I am expecting and counting on right after NAB. If that doesn't happen I will be very disappointed and extremely pissed. I see that lots of peeps are in the process of paying, that is great.Those that haven't paid or aren't in the process should be dropped immediately, they have had ample opportunity.
 
"Dropped" doesn't serve anyone. Perhaps put to the back of the queue but "urged" to complete their deal.
 
Actually, dropped would serve everyone who is in. Back of the queue obviously doesn't mean anything to the people that have not committed. It should be apparent to them by now that this is not like ordering something from B&H with its established lines of communication, payments and deliveries. I don’t know what Pierre will do about this but I suspect that he will honor those that have paid in good faith by delivering their units even if the price has to change to reflect a smaller group buy; although it would be great if the price didn't change. We really need to put a deadline on this otherwise it will be Christmas and we will all still be arguing about this.

I am completely paid up and have an indication from Pierre that my unit will ship right after NAB. I don't expect a price change before that time under any circumstances.

What, exactly, does dropping anyone accomplish?
 
We both have the same indication from Pierre, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Has anyone heard from Pierre today? I sent a mail earlier to him, so wondering if he's busy. Guess I'll check tomorrow, as I'm calling it a day (well, night) as it's late here in the UK.

Pierre is very busy prepping for NAB.

Let's wait until NAB to see where we stand.

I'm certain that shipping will happen very quickly after NAB.

As I believe it was Pierre who said he has the ability manufacture 200 of these per day.

I'm just hoping to see these new hooks in action at NAB!

Would still love to see your tests ! We all know what the disclaimers are at this point, shouldn't effect anything other than doorway stuff. Are you able to show us some stuff ?
