  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

According to the post on the first page of this thread, the regular retail price will be 3790 euros. At the current exchange rate of $1.12, that works out to $4,245. You might note that the euro is as low as it has been for several years so there is no guarantee the exchange rate will remain that favorable for U.S. buyers.

Guys, I just got a gig so I won't have any time to post the master list until next week. No worries though, it will look like the list on page one, only with the names who aren't part of the GB removed. Until then, keep yourselves busy with your projects and enjoy your lives :)
 
I just saw that Paypal refunded my deposit. So I guess I need to do a bank transfer instead? It sounds like I should have got an email too explaining this but nothing so far. Is there any action I need to take at this time or just stand by for now?
 
Carey, I wouldn't mind receiving an invoice for the remaining amount now, along with instructions on payment.

I know from history that the Euro/USD exchange rate follows the price of oil, and I just as soon pay now before oil goes up, and the current exchange rate advantage is lost. This will have no impact at Pierre's financial end of the transaction.

You can buy the Euro now and lock it down that way. Pay later when you got the wire details.

Cool, but there must be some changes in the order beyond removing the the ones that aren't part of the GB. Alot did not cash the deposit before the 17dec. Right?
 
I don't see myself on the list as a paid deposit which was sent via money transfer before the cutoff. Pierre acknowledged via email. Is the list just not updated?? Hoping that is the case. And I am still number 100 something. Am I in on the 93? Hoping so as well. Thanks.

Same here as Jim, paid my deposit via Paypal on 12-10-14, perhaps just an oversight.

I would still like to pay early. I am on a trip the two weeks when everything will be happening, and don't want to chance being deleted from the list because I didn't respond to an email from Pierre in a timely fashion.

Maybe you can post details insofar as my deposit was one of the successful Paypal deposits. Might be worth consideration to pay early.

Yep. I will be traveling to Cuba during the month of Feburary and don't expect to be able to get online much. Certainly not able to do a wire transfer while I'm gone.
