  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

Just seen the new regular price of the exoskeleton, 3790 euros without vat, it seem we will have a very very good deal with the group buy :)

As other, waiting the the link for add again the deposit (I've just been refound from paypal)

This technology is well worth that price. Those who paid their deposits made a very wise choice. Those who didn't pay their deposits will end up paying more later. For the life of me, I can't understand why so many people said "I'm in" and wanted on the list, but then didn't follow through and pay their deposits. Especially since the deposit is refundable! These people have disappointed me and wasted my time. The rest of you who followed through and paid your deposit will not regret it and will be on the cutting edge of this technology.

For furutre reference: don't say "I'm in" and then flake out. You lose credibility when you do that. Not coming back here and letting me know you've decided to opt out and to request that I remove you from my list is inconsiderate to the rest of the group.

Totally agree Carey !

Especially for the second list when people ask to be in even if the 100list at the begining was closed to them.

When I help you for the pm, I have some feedback about people who didn't found the thread !

And like you said, we will have a really really good deal with this groupbuy. With my colleague David Piolé we bought 2, we really trust on this fantastic system.

What about the " last day " issue ? I wasn't able to make the payement. Just to be sure I'm still in. Thanks.

Here are the final tallies:
Committed buyers at the official end of the Group Buy (17th): 55x
Paid deposits until today, january 3rd: 61x
Paypal refunds (19th>31st): +21x
People counted in but not committed for now: +14x
Those last 21+14 people will get instructions soon on how to (re)send their deposits.

Even if we have only 61 deposits paid today, the Paypal hassle is on us, so the GB ended with the 85+ price: round 2000€ VAT Excl.

As a reminder, we decided not to produce the originally planned simple sheet metal model for that price. We decided to go instead for a very sophisticated piece of equipment with lots of expensive die-cast / CNC machined aluminium parts (and you haven’t yet seen the very last design...).
We’ve been undertaken a huge and hard work to get you all the best product and the first everyday use exoskeleton available on earth today.

Yes, the final retail price of the “G” exoskeleton is 3790€ VAT Excl. The happy few who got on board on time get a “one in a lifetime” discount of –47%!

Thank you Pierre... And I will update the final list on page one once all payments are received.

Orders will be shipped according to that final list.

I look forward to testing, reviewing and posting video of my experimentations.

I plan to show video of me using the product, from putting it on to storing the arms, to taking it off. I also will post footage shot with the Red, BeSteady and L'Aigle Exoskelton combo. I'm especially excited to see how it handles the fourth axis.

Hi Carey, I was refunded the PayPal payment and have not received any further instructions from L'Aigle nor can I get on the L'Aigle website to reorder by bank transfer or credit card at the GB price. Pierre stated "not to worry" but a definite word on how to proceed would be great. Thank you for all the attention to this GB and look forward to getting this resolved...

I am still in but the payment link is not available. Please advise.

Pierre will take care of this for you

We are having an appointment with a "real" bank, with "real" people you can reach when you need to, on tuesday to set a CC payment method on the online shop. But, again, don't worry, you will not be excluded all because of Paypal.

I had trouble doing a bank transfer and decided to wait for the credit card option. I did send an email to the company asking what the transfer fee was for their bank as my banker said I need to include that or I would not be sending enough. I never got a reply. I would prefer the credit card option anyway if that becomes available to me as the fees for the bank transfer could be as hight as $90.

Yeah, like me.

Really?? Maybe I can help you understand - You've changed the terms, deadlines, and promises so many times it has made my head spin. And then, in the final days there are major payment issues with peoples deposits not going through or being "lost". Then insist that people pay via wire transfer to a foreign company, with the promise that the deposit is refundable? Why should we take your word for it? Things certainly haven't been consistent so far. And you have yet to show any final product or it's capabilities.

We all want a tool like this. Despite all the mix-ups and changes, I was still willing to deposit via credit card, at least then I could have some protection if things go sour. But instead of complaining about those of us who are a little more discerning with our choices, and bashing our credibility - why not review your own actions and inconsistencies? I'm sure you put a lot of work into this, and I sense some frustration, but those kind of statements are uncalled-for, especially by the person organizing the group buy and representing a company. Very disappointing.

You have completely misunderstood me.

My statement did not include those who wanted to pay with credit cards. It was intended for the 50 people who put their name on the list, promising to pay, but then flaked. I gave everyone plenty of time to pay their REFUNDABLE deposit. You can't please everyone.

My issue is with the people who did not come back on this thread and specifically say "I'm out". Like I requested on several occasions.

No need to bite the hand that feeds you. I'm the one that brought this group by together, I'm the one saving you all tons of money, I'm the one that helped this product to evolve to a point where it will be much better than the original and I am the one that has put in tons and tons and tons of work, answering countless PM's and spending countless hours on this.

Every change and alteration that I've made to this group buy has been for the benefit of the redusers. I have negotiated and worked hard to tip this group by in your favor and give you the best possible deal on planet earth.

I do this for the benefit of the community.

By the way, this group buy has been open from Oct. 1st through December 31st.

That's 2 full months.

That's more than enough time to make a REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.

There was no excuse not to make your REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
