  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

Hi Carey, I got an email asking for the deposit yesterday, but when I went to click on the link it was bad and would not let me pay. The link had jumbled wording and the cart/payment feature wouldn't work. Any and all help appreciated. Wrote Alex about it, who sent me info and link, and he said to contact you.
Also could not figure out what the amount for deposit was from that link. Sorry it has been really busy and have not been on here in a while to remember what the amount is. Do not want to miss out on the early buy in.
Thanks, Jim

Hi Carey, thanks for info. So its 20% of what number now? $1870 Euro?

Carey, I finally got a link to work but it is asking for the full amount of 2950 euro. Sorry not sure what is going on or what I am doing wrong. Pierre sent me bank info but it is in French and knowing my bank they will want info in english too. Sorry man, appreciate your help, or anyones help at this point. Thanks

We will have a credit card payment method programmed on the online shop these next days.

Thanks Pierre,
We're waiting for the credit card link then.

Paypal is a hell for vendors. It's the buyers kingdom.

I'm number 87 in the first 100 list. Payed via bank wire transfer and in. Please update me.
For all the other users who are trying to pay via bank wire transfer: The info that appears when you select pay by wire transfer on the L'AIGLE site doesn't appear to be correct, at least it wasn't working for me. I contacted Pierre and they sent me all their info including a proper IBAN code. Paying by wire transfer was easy then... If you guys need the IBAN code drop a line to Pierre he answered in no time.

Just to let everyone know, the link to make the deposit is now working from the above link...for me at least...and has the correct deposit amount of 374 euro. Thank you to whoever got that working. Thought I was doing something wrong.
Anyway, payment is made online, going to bank now to wire funds.

Actually, from what you can read if you're getting into it, Paypal is neither the buyers, nor the vendors kingdom. Paypal is Paypal's kingdom...
After quite a struggle with Paypal employees (who never give away their names...) in Ireland and Luxembourg, we finally obtain the refund of the 20 last deposits to their sender. So the 20 last of you wil get their money back today. Stay tuned for instructions on how to safely send it back to us.
I wish you all a great New Year's Eve and the happiest and most successful new year 2015!

Huh. Just got the refund via Paypal email. It said it completed the refund yet there is no money in paypal nor on my credit card. Guess it takes a bit of time for the credit to actually appear on the credit card. Great.

Pierre,

I initiated a deposit under my company St Marks Pictures LLC. Anyway, I filed under wire transfer but I'm actually waiting for the credit card deposit to be set up. Please let me know as soon as this is available at saintmarkspictures@gmail.com. For business reasons I"d much rather do this with credit card.

Thanks and happy new year.

Just got a refund notice via. a paypal email as well. I'll wait out for the credit card link! Any news on the new deadline?

Back when I used to buy, sell and rent loads of gear, we got out of Paypal asap. Wasn't seller friendly at all.

Any news on the new deadline?
Carey will be the first to get his hands on the exoskeleton and make a review for you all. This should happen by the end of january, if everything runs smoothly at the factory.
But as Terry Verhaar said (if I remember right) we'd rather take a little longer to make you all absolutely enthusiatic about every aspect of the product (design, manufacturing quality, functionality, features... packaging, anything...) than rush things.

I'm registered, etc and just got a prompt response from Pierre that credit card option will be up shortly. Can't wait to unleash this beast on NYC.

I want to make the deposit by credit card also for business reasons. Any deadline for the credit card deposit to be set up. or any news on the new deadline?. Please advise. I do not want to loose my spot.

Thanks.

JC

You will not lose your spot. I plan to extend the deadline until credit cards can be accepted as payment. I will update the forum with the new deadline tonight.
