  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy - Inovativ Carts!!

Sick. Well put me down for accessories. Not sure what next steps are for that. Should I just order them all now? I unfortunately can't afford a 2nd cart, but if I could I would buy it in a heartbeat. Don't miss out on this deal fellas.

it's not that i don't like the red accents, it's just that i already have an echo with accessories and would prefer it all to have the same orange accents...

I cannot deny the effort between Chris and Inovative to bring us a custom red-accented version for this GB ... some people prefer the original orange stock version (me included) but if it's prohibitive in terms of mass production, it's not exactly a deal-breaker. I have a couple questions though:

1) If getting a stock orange one is not possible, could we get the red version without "RedUser" inscribed on the handles? This allows us to get our own names or company names engraved on them later. Or perhaps this could be an option at check-out?

2) With the red version, will there be red-anodized version of the Mitchell mount available thru their website? Otherwise, it could look a little funky with the color mix. Or perhaps, we have to consider a third-party red version? Would personally prefer to get it all thru Inovativ.

I would much rather have the original color. Also not to say anything against reduser. But I really would prefer mine to not have anything enscribed on the handles.
 
I'm in for Scout Evo 37... Does it have to have the custom Reduser stuff? Black/non-custom may be preferred

I'd prefer the stock colour without "reduser" inscribed - is that possible?

Couldn't see any gimbal specific or drone specific accessories so need to figure out what I need for my MoVi and Alta

There was one accessory I remember asking them about developing: To attach to the camera mount system, a receiver that would accept a standard ARRI dovetail plate.
This would facilitate removing the complete camera set from the tripod head (Cine30HD or 2575), transfer to the cart, move and reset. I never saw the sense in removing the tripod head to move the camera...

With not too many modifications such as lengthening the arms, adding U's or alternate holders at the ends, could this not become a fantastic gimbal stand for location work?

I was thinking the same thing. Would be great to have a plate system on the cart
 
Guys, for those who have issues with the customizing, I am only guessing here, but pulling off Group Buys is really tough especially when you have distributers who feel they're getting screwed. One way around this issue, is for manufacturers to offer custom orders for a specific group. So count yourself lucky to get a great deal, but I don't think there will be options for standard configurations. Just speculating of course. Thanks again Chris for this opportunity.

Ok guys. Getting the stock orange cart is not possible with this group buy. The customized RED color and inscribed handles are the only reasons why we are able to save so much money. If you would like to purchase their stock cart, you'll have to pay full price. We can't upset Inovativ's distributors...they're already gonna be upset enough with us getting that huge of a discount, but if we were able to get 30% off on the exact carts they sell, that wouldn't be good for Inovativ.

All accessories that typically come orange will now come in the RED as well.

If you're just purchasing accessories to go with your already owned Stock Inovativ cart, those will come in the stock orange color which must be specified when ordering in the notes section.

Regarding Shipping:

All carts other than the Scout Evo 31" and 37" will be shipped via FREIGHT, so please keep that in mind in terms of delivery/extra cost. It's typically $200-$300 for domestic USA shipping and more for international. Inovativ is nice enough to allow us to get other sizes/cart variations outside of the Scout Evo 37," so keep that in mind that those other carts will NOT be a flat rate shipping of $130 domestic USA.

Inovativ is working hard on the website code/ordering structure. Hoping to start sending codes on Monday at some point, but may be Tuesday.

Let me know if you want to be removed from the list if you don't like the RED..there are many others who would love to jump up in the line.

thanks chris for the clarification and all the time and effort you have put into this, i (and others as well i suppose) thought that the custom red would mean extra work. thanks for explaining it, i think we are all grateful for what you did and the deal we are getting!
