  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

In the vid do you not show 3 Cross Braces total - 2 that come with the base kit and one extra to hold the Mast?

Hmm. Not easy to figure out what to get. Looking to have a mount for a monitor. And a mount that I can use the RED quickrelease system on for the camera. Any suggestions, folks?

I'd go with the camera mount system and the 5/8 baby pin system (provided you have a monitor that uses a Vesa/c-stand adapter)
 
Damn whoever got this ended early. If anyone changes their mind about buying one, I'd like your place in line, if that's possible.

I got the 5/8" riser for my gimbals and the umbrella clamps to attach a c-stand riser w/out base for a potential flag. Also grabbed the c-stand mounts to transport two additional stands on and off location.

Was torn on the cable hooks...what's the advantage of the smaller baby pin system over the umbrella clamps for a regular c-stand riser? Weight?

No actually. Most systems like the Camera mount, 5/8 Mast Riser System, Tripod System. Steadicam System, come with the extra cross bar.

Thanks Bob for the insights. I'm going to the factory to pick mine up so I can assemble all the bits to see what works with what and how it packs. Will report back once the pretty little piglet is in hand.

Sorry Zeb...thought you understood with my Correct...which, in looking back, wasn't as clear as I thought. Glad Bob came to my rescue haha.

No worries I appreciate the efforts.

What would be the RU GB Dream Team? McKech doing the business end and Gundu doing that demo video voodoo he do so well. The deal should be the Manufacturer gives you both a product either for free or at a very deep discount, in return you sell a boat load of product and give them a professional grade demo video to post on their website.

No one better at their respective roles than dem Boyz
 
Well damn. I thought the group buy was good through today but it looks like I missed it. Was waiting to see if I'd get the cash before committing and well the last 3 jobs all came in today. Was hoping to go for a scout. Unless by some miracle I can still make it???


EDIT: I look back through the thread and discovered the reason. Super bummer. I'm not sure what the arrangement is exactly but I do know someone who lives near me that is on the list so maybe they can purchase a second cart and I just buy it from them? Don't know if that's kosher or not. If not please let me know.

Hey, Chris - I see that the pricing is no longer shown on the front page of this thread. I just wanted to double check to make sure my invoice is accurate when I place my order. (Especially since Berenger noted a discrepancy above.) Where do we find the final pricing? And what is the discount on accessories?

And that quote was from before we hit the top tier....so everyone knows we get the 30%
 
Do peeps have any issues shipping/checking these carts w/o the "Soft Case"? Or is the soft case highly recommended when dealing with baggage checkers/chuckers?

I personally love the soft case. Goes on and off with ease, and it will protect your cart's exterior if you do a lot of traveling.
